This piece was the first mechanical model I ever made in Onshape. It features a central mainspring powering a Swiss lever escapement, which reciprocates on a hairspring to power a minute hand.
Modern watch movement is a reminder of how far humans have advanced in mechanical engineering. Only one hand is visible to symbolize focusing on minutes and not getting overwhelmed in the fleeting seconds that occupy them.
