This engine crankshaft was created from scratch using the Onshape modelling software package. It was modeled after the ones found in current Rally cars. It contains 4 inline cylinders, each fit with dimension-realistic rings and bearings.
I find it astonishing how much thought has gone into the efficiency of the internal combustion engine. I tried to demonstrate this by researching each component and modelling using proportional components.
